Review Honeymoon Effect by Bruce Lipton

If you’ve had past relationships that didn’t go as well as you hoped, and now you wonder if you’ll experience true love, I think you’ll enjoy Bruce Lipton’s The Honeymoon Effect: The Science of Creating Heaven on Earth. If you have a relationship and simply want to know how to maintain the love or improve it, I think this book can help you strengthen your connection in the best possible way.

Book Review: The Honeymoon Effect: The Science of Creating Heaven on Earth by Bruce Lipton

We all know the wonderful feeling of falling in love. We’re filled with happiness, energy, and a zest for life. The feeling doesn’t last long as relationships fall into predictable patterns or fall apart.

However, according to Bruce Lipton, it doesn’t have to be that way. We can capture the honeymoon feeling and live happily ever after. The tools for doing so lie within us.

Lipton shares intimate details about his life, explaining what has and hasn’t worked in his relationships. Despite how traumatic some of his experiences have been, he shares his story with a joy that lifts one’s spirits.

An easy-to-read study of quantum physics describes how good and bad vibrations affect our lives. Lipton explains how we can understand the messages they give us and how we can use them to create our own happily ever after in life.

Lipton provides a nice, clear explanation of biochemistry to explain the rush of chemicals behind love, and how they are activated not just by falling in love with a person, but also by falling in love with an idea or project. They’re “potent chemical brews that motivate us to pursue the objects of our desire.”

Yet, despite biochemistry, finding the man or woman of our dreams isn’t enough. We subconsciously repeat past patterns. Until we address these issues, relationships will only last until the endorphins wear off. Lipton offers a wide variety of resources we can use to resolve these issues.

When the initial honeymoon effect is over, we often find our partner knows just how to push our buttons. Lipton explains they are expressing their subconscious programming, going back to the programming they learned while still in the womb. Their subconscious mind absorbed a lot of information from their environment, from the chemicals running through their bodies and their mother’s body during pregnancy.

However, we can reprogram our subconscious mind so that we are compatible with the partner we’d most like to spend our lives with happily ever after.

Perhaps most importantly, Lipton explains how to maintain that honeymoon feeling once we find our true love.

Although this book doesn’t provide all the answers to achieve perfect love relationships. It does provide a good foundation and directions to resources that will help change the negative programming of the subconscious mind.

If you have children, the information on how children receive programming that shapes their lives beginning in pregnancy and continuing until they are six years old, is invaluable.

Note: I was not paid for this review and did not receive a free copy of the book. I just love giving credit where credit is due. I have used this book personally and can recommend it 100%. However, if Bruce Lipton and Co. want to throw some free books my way, I won’t complain. 🙂
