The Law of Attraction states your outer world is a direct reflection of your inner world. Everything you give your focus to, even if it seems like a little harmless thought, sends vibrations out into the Universe and attracts to you more of the same.
What Does This Mean for You?
When there is an area in your life that isn’t going right, your thoughts tend to focus on that area.
When you feel overwhelmed by all the work you have at your job, you focus on all the work.
When you’re not seeing eye-to-eye with your significant other, you focus on the differences.
When you’re not happy with your body, you focus on everything you dislike about your body.
By focusing on all the things that aren’t right, you create more of the things that aren’t right.
How can Looking Inside Yourself get You the Answers You Need to Make the Law of Attraction Work?
Instead of looking outside of yourself at what is wrong, look inside yourself. Everything in your life is attracted to you by you. Everything you see is a reflection of what is inside of you.
If there is something in your life that you don’t like, ask yourself why.
- Why is it there?
- What is it trying to tell you?
- What have you been focusing on that this situation is reflecting back to you?
- Why don’t you want the situation to be different?
Are you overwhelmed at your job? Why don’t you want to complete your work effortlessly?
Is your significant other doing something that is getting on your nerves? Why don’t you want him/her to do something else?
Are you unhappy with your body weight? Why don’t you want to have your ideal body? Why don’t you want to lose/gain weight?
When you ask yourself why you don’t want your desire, you discover where your resistance lies.
Just the act of knowing what your resistance is is usually enough to overcome it. It’s like a lightbulb goes off in your head. Sometimes the answer is so silly you might laugh.
So why don’t you have what you want?
Look inside yourself. The answer lies within you.
I want to be in a mutually loving relationship and actually met someone with whom I would like to be in this relationship. I haven’t even seen this person in about a month or so, yet still feel strongly about him. I would like to be in a relationship with him or someone similar to him and wondering why this isn’t happening.
I know what my resistance is. It’s that I identify myself as someone who always has issues and a person of lack. I am ysed to being a victim, etc. So doing the exercise above, if I have all that I want then, what will I complain about and feel a victim about? I lose that victim identity.
I know, that’s so crazy but that is what I heard myself think and feel when thinking about why I wouldn’t want my desires.
So how do I get rid of all that??
I’m trying to get the job in the city I’ve been always trying to live in. I started improving myself so I can attract the positive energy and emit the right vibrations to get what I want. Being a happy and a confident person feels really good, but sometimes It’s really hard to have the peace in your life that helps in manifesting desires when we’re living with people who emit negative energies. I wish that every one starts to use the law of attraction in their lives because when they don’t they just disrupt us. 🙂
